- W+R / mscofig / Boot / safemode or safeboot / restart ok
2. Shift+Restart / Troubleshoot / Advanced option / Startupsettings / restart / press 4
3. Hold the Shift button and mash the F8 key when Windows starts. This will sometimes boot you into the new advanced repair options.
a. Click on the Troubleshoot option
b. Now select Advanced Options.
c. Now choose the Windows Startup Settings option
d. Then hit the Restart button
e. Press the F4 key on your keyboard, to enable Safe Mode
